Seipasa, a company specialized in the formulation, development and marketing of botanical-based solutions (biopesticides, biostimulants and fertilizers) for agriculture, reached an agreement with Ecovalia to become the exclusive sponsor of Ecoracimo <\/em><\/a>2018, the international competition that will choose the best organic wine in the world.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The event will be held on May 12th 2018 in the Castle of Montilla (Cordoba), under the supervision of a prestigious panel of 20 international tasters. The XIX edition of Ecoracimo <\/em>intends to encourage not only those organic farmers working the vine but also the wineries that produce certified organic wines<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The CMO of Seipasa, Juan Manuel L\u00f3pez<\/a>, insisted on Seipasa’s commitment to the organic sector to strengthen its international development and promotion: “Not only does Ecoracimo show full alignment with Seipasa\u2019s values, but it is also consistent with our commitment to natural technology as a driving force for agriculture. From Seipasa we want to support and recognize the great effort made by producers and wineries manufacturing certified organic wines<\/strong>“.<\/p>\n

Lopez highlighted the excellent moment faced by this sector and remarked the figures that prove it. “Only in Spain, a total of 106,000 hectares are dedicated to growing organic grapes. It results in an increase of 11% compared to the previous year, showing a substantial sign on how relevant is the future of this sector\u201d.<\/p>\n

The best organic wine in the world<\/h2>\n

Ecoracimo <\/em>2018 is organized by Ecovalia, Cordoba\u2019s Provincial Council<\/a> and the City Council of Montilla<\/a><\/strong>. The competition is divided into 7 categories with several awards in each category. The highest award – Special Award granted by Cordoba\u2019s Provincial Council– will be given to the wine obtaining the maximum score within the Ecoracimos Gran Oro<\/em> category. More than 200 wines are expected to participate in this XIX edition.<\/p>\n

Seipasa’s commitment to the organic industry also embraces the olive oil sector. Seipasa sponsored the XVII edition of Ecotrama<\/a>, the Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil International Competition<\/strong>.
