Seipasa, a Spanish company specialising in the development, formulation and production of bioinsecticides, biofungicides, biostimulants and nutritional treatments for agriculture, has announced that it has joined the United Nations Global Compact<\/a>, a voluntary leadership platform for developing, implementing and disseminating responsible business practices.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Seipasa joins a global network of companies committed to corporate responsibility in support of the United Nations\u2019 efforts to address global challenges and build a sustainable and equitable future for all.<\/p>\n

The UN Global Compact is the world\u2019s largest corporate sustainability initiative, with more than 15,000 corporate members and 3,800 non-business signatories in over 160 countries<\/strong>. It promotes the adoption of ten universally accepted principles in areas such as human rights, labour, environment and anti-corruption.<\/p>\n

Mar\u00eda del Puig Mora, Seipasa\u2019s Quality and Environment manager, stressed the importance of aligning Seipasa’s Corporate Social Responsibility policy<\/a> with the objectives of the UN Global Compact.<\/p>\n

\u201cSeipasa\u2019s CSR aims to have a positive impact on society and, more specifically, on the community of which we are a part, by promoting healthy food free of chemical waste<\/strong>. We do this through a business model based on Natural Technology and committed to sustainable production and development\u201d.<\/p>\n

\u201cJoining the UN Global Compact is a further demonstration of our commitment and alignment with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs),\u201d said Mora<\/strong><\/p>\n

Sharing solutions to global challenges<\/h2>\n

For his part, David Candil, project manager of Seipasa, stressed the importance of companies making progress in finding joint solutions to global challenges through this type of initiative:<\/p>\n
