Cut-off low effects on the province of Valencia: our solidarity with the victims and affected people.

October 30, 2024

Seipasa would like to express its solidarity with all those affected by the historic episode of torrential rain affecting the province of Valencia and other areas of the southeastern of Spain. We regret the dramatic loss of human life and send our condolences to the families of the deceased.

We also express our solidarity with all the farmers affected by the floods and hail, which have seriously damaged their crops.

The entire Valencian region of La Ribera and the municipality of L'Alcúdia, where our headquarters and production facilities are located, have been severely affected by the heavy rains and the flooding of the Magro River. According to the National Meteorological Office, some points in L'Alcúdia recorded 195 litres per square metre yesterday.

We want to send a message of calm to all our customers and distributors. We are working to ensure that our production and product logistics are not affected. We hope to be able to resume shipping as soon as the roads are reopened and back to normal.
