Seipasa, the Spanish company specialised in the development and formulation of bioinsecticides, biofungicides and biostimulants, and Agromilenio, the Colombian company engaged in integrated services for the marketing and sale of agricultural solutions, have announced an agreement for the distribution of Seipasa's products in Colombia.
By way of this agreement, the products manufactured by Seipasa in Spain under its Natural Technology® model will be marketed and sold in Colombia through Agromilenio's network of distributors, technicians, and advisers, thanks to its broad presence and coverage throughout the country.
According to Eric Frasser, Agromilenio’s Sales Manager, "this alliance further strengthens the integrated offer of Agromilenio's services covering plant protection products and fertilizers, which is now supplemented with natural bioinputs for different crops. “In this way”, Eric Frasser adds, “Seipasa, with its Natural Technology® model, brings our customers a new concept based on what is natural, a very necessary worldwide trend with prospects of high development in Colombia".
Eric Frasser goes on to explain that Colombia's agriculture is undergoing a process of transformation, in which "locally consumed crops are migrating towards exportation". Agromilenio's Sales Manager highlights that "Colombian farmers are working very hard to develop crops with an export profile in addition to those typically exported such as roses, bananas and coffee. This transformation has brought increased revenues for producers as well as a significant internationalization process".
High Value-Added Natural Technology
José Luis Egas, Seipasa's Sales Manager in Latin America, highlighted that the company develops, formulates, and produces natural solutions using substances of botanical and microbiological origin. "Our added value lies in the identification and selection of the most efficient, most effective raw materials". We use cutting-edge technology to extract the very best from that active principle and to guarantee maximum effectiveness anywhere in the world and in any application conditions, certified by the corresponding phytosanitary registration", José Luis Egas assured.
Seipasa's Sales Manager in Latin American added that the company has an extensive international track record, with products that undergo a process of continuous improvement. "The fact that we are present in 25 countries and have 44 phytosanitary registrations, enables us to incorporate into our products all that know-how and experience that we acquire in each of the agricultural systems and scenarios in which we work".
José Luis Egas added that the products in Seipasa's current catalogue in Colombia are registered with the Colombian Agriculture and Livestock Institute (ICA) and are geared towards high value-added crops such as avocado, rice, potato, coffee, banana or flowers, among others. Seipasa's Sales Manager in Latin America also underlined that the company is continuing the process of obtaining new product registrations.
