Seipasa, the Spanish company specialised in the development and formulation of biopesticides, biostimulants and fertilizers for agriculture has been selected as one of the 500 companies at the head of business growth in Spain.
The list, drawn up by CEPYME (Spanish Confederation of Medium and Small Enterprises), serves to identify, select and promote the 500 companies that spearhead greatest business growth in the country, both in terms of the results obtained over the past few years and their capacity to generate activity, employment, potential for innovation and international projection.
The Spanish company, with a current workforce of 65 employees, achieved a 35% Return on Assets (ROA) and an annual sales growth of 27% in 2017, opening up the doors to the select club of the leading 500 companies at national level.
Seipasa’s CEO, Pedro Peleato described the company’s entry in CEPYME’s 500 list as extremely positive and went on to add that “Seipasa is an enterprise with a clear vocation to lead the biological crop protection market. This recognition by CEPYME endorses our solid background of over more than 20 years on which we have always based our growth and expansion into new markets, funded by our own financial resources”.
Seipasa has two subsidiaries in Mexico and Ecuador and operates through business units in the US, Africa and Europe. The company has an extensive list of phytosanitary registrations worldwide.
This is the third consecutive year that CEPYME has promoted this project. The listed companies form part of an economic year book that was presented to the media in an act that took place at the headquarters of the Spanish Confederation of Medium and Small Enterprises in Madrid.
