Seipasa, the Spanish company specialising in the development and manufacture of biopesticides, biostimulants and fertilizers for agriculture, has taken part in the Biostimulants World Congress held in Barcelona. The event organised by EBIC (the European Biostimulants Industry Council) and New AGInternational, brought together more than 1,400 participants from 64 countries with the aim of analysing the latest innovations in the industry from a technical/regulatory point of view.
Seipasa participated in the scientific programme organised by the Congress with the presentation of a case study based on the company’s experience in biostimulant development. The conference entitled “Genetic expression in ensuring consistent efficacy in crops” was directed and presented by Javier Nácher, the company’s Chief Technical Officer, who stated that the aim of the technical paper was to “share Seipasa’s developments and experience in the biostimulants sector with the rest of the industry”.
“We presented our experience through a case study in which we combined amino acids with microorganisms. The responses obtained in different physiological processes, using balanced formulations of amino acids along with a combination of our own strain of a microorganism with effective root colonization, have enabled us to obtain highly positive results in terms of crop improvement, yield and quality”, Seipasa’s CTO went on to explain.
Seipasa’s presence also featured strongly at the Congress through its trade stand 105 where it showcased the company’s main product references and latest developments in biostimulants.
