The Spanish company Seipasa, specialized in the development, formulation and manufacture of bioinsecticides, biofungicides, biostimulants and fertilizers for agriculture, has presented in Murcia the new microbiological fungicide Fungisei. The product has just obtained phytosanitary registration in Spain by the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food for the control of diseases such as powdery mildew, downy mildew, botrytis and mottling in a wide variety of crops.
The presentation was held in Torre Pacheco (Murcia, Spain) and was attended by over a hundred farmers, field technicians and farm managers who learned first hand the keys to a product that stands out for its unique and patented formulation, developed from an exclusive high-efficacy and pure strain of Bacillus subtilis.
Miguel Ángel Romera, Seipasa’s regional sales manager in Murcia, emphasized that Fungisei is a “solution with a very wide range and potential in Murcia, due to its focus on the production of high-value crops”. Mr Romera recalled that Fungisei is a new solution in Spain, but it is backed by the registration and experience accumulated by the company in agricultural systems in countries such as Portugal, France, Turkey, Mexico, the United States, Peru, Morocco and Ivory Coast, where the product is already sold.
