Seipasa, a company specialized in the formulation, development and marketing of botanical-based solutions (biopesticides, biostimulants and fertilizers) for agriculture, has participated in ABIM 2017, the Annual Biocontrol Industry Meeting held in Basel, Switzerland, between October 23-25.
Seipasa’s CCO, José Ángel Talavera, presented a paper focusing on new strategies for biocontrol. Talavera referred to the processes that companies must complete in the registration of phytosanitary products.
Talavera reviewed strategies of collaboration between companies and presented the case of Seipasa concerning the registration process in different products and international markets.
ABIM results in the most important international meeting for those companies dedicated to biological control. The forum works as a big platform to network, discover and unveil new products, market opportunities and research areas.
ABIM 2017
Seipasa joined this forum as a leading company in biological crop protection, but also as IBMA member (International Biocontrol Manufacturers Association). The 11th Annual Meeting of ABIM was attended by about 900 delegates from more than 420 companies.
The scientific programme with 8 sessions with 29 presentations covered the latest developments in market development, regulatory affairs and novel products for plant protection.
